Union Benefit Reminder
As the end of 2024 comes upon us, we just wanted to send out a reminder that forms and receipts for any Union Benefits must be in the office by December 31st. Even though Canadian Post is back to work we understand the strike has limited the ability for members to mail in physical receipts and the backlog the mail service will face will slow things down as well.
Because of these special circumstances, the office will accept emailed copies of receipts till the end of December 2024.

Union Benefits are available to members after being on our Pacific Blue Cross plan for a min of 3 months.
Union Benefit forms are available on our website under Members/Forms
Health Spending
Health Spending: per family covers additional costs above your Blue Cross Extended benefit limits.
Following the CRA (Canadian Revenue Agency) Medical Expenses (see CRA website)
$450.00 of which $250.00 can be used towards a pair of CSA-approved Steel toe footwear.
Gym membership
Gym Membership: Member only$400.00/year
Lifestyles
Lifestyles: Member onlyErectile disfunction drugs - $500/year
Smoking cessation - $500/lifetime
Wills
Wills: per family$650.00 towards a will every 3 years
Will packages are available on our website or at the Union Hall (copies can be emailed)
